In 2022 I completed a project to photograph the interior of Newcastle Cathedral for their new guidebook. Located in the heart of Newcastle upon Tyne, the cathedral is a magnificent architectural masterpiece that captures the essence of religious and historical significance. Formerly known as the Parish Church of St Nicholas, the cathedral has been a central and vibrant part of Newcastle for more than 900 years. Throughout its rich history, from its establishment and subsequent reconstruction during the Medieval period to its involvement in the English Civil War and numerous renovations over the centuries.
